New home electrical services for grand Bellbrae home
We recently completed new home electrical services for this stunning home in Bellbrae with multiple types of lighting which accentuated the awesome and grand features of this home.
This project called for something a little different to the standard types of lighting used in most homes so LED Outdoor, an Adelaide based architectural lighting supplier, was engaged to see what feature lighting products they had that could really make this beauty shine.
As the electrical budget was limited, just like future ceiling access, it was decided that we would run data cabling, speaker and security cabling throughout the home, all back to a central data rack as a way to allow ease of installation later on when the budget allows.
Beacon Lighting pendants were used in the dining room and front entrance along with an LED mirror light in the massive WIR and a nice little round timber wall light in the power room for when you just need a little ambient light to let guests know where they are going.
Sunny Australia Lighting (SAL) led strip lighting was used in the kitchen underneath the overhead shelving, under the overheads cupboard/shelving in the study nook, underneath the shaving cabinet in the ensuite and underneath the vanities in the ensuite and main bathroom. The LED strip lighting in the ensuite and bathroom was operated by a Brilliant Lighting recessed sensor so if any of the family ever needed to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, the sensor would turn on the LED strip lighting which was a nice and gentle way to be exposed to sudden light.
One of my personal favourites was the Schweigen ceiling cassette silent rangehood was installed above the induction cooktop in the island bench as to not remove the awesome view out north towards Mount Duneed and the You Yangs.
Lighting can make or break any home if not done correctly. The lighting budget on this new home project is more than that many can afford but there are little things that can be done to not just brighten up any more, but bring it to life.
